UGC Studio

Build a synthetic character or clone your own face and voice, then turn either one into a talking or moving video, with the cost shown before anything generates.

UGC Studio

UGC Studio at ugc.devghouse.com turns one saved identity into as much video as you need, without booking a new shoot every time. There are two doors in: describe a person who never existed, or confirm the photos and voice are your own. Cloning anyone else is not offered.

Save the identity once. After that you can put it in a new scene, make it say a new script, or drop it into a multi-shot video draft, and every generation shows its credit cost before you confirm.

Who it is for

  • A creator or small agency that wants one consistent on-camera persona for a week of content, without a new model or a new filming day for every post.
  • Someone who wants to keep appearing in their own videos (lessons, replies, daily updates) without recording fresh footage each time, using their own consenting likeness.
  • A brand that wants to test ad variations fast: same spokesperson, new scene, new line, in minutes.

What you can do

FeatureWhat it does
Build an AI characterDescribe a person in one sentence, generate a photoreal base portrait, lock a voice, and save it to your library. Always fully synthetic, never a real person.
Grow a character's reference galleryGenerate more identity-accurate photos of a saved character in new outfits and settings, up to 16 images.
Star a character in a sceneGenerate a new still of the character in any setting, grounded in its saved reference photos.
Star a character in a talking videoThe character speaks a script on camera, in its own derived voice or a fixed stock voice.
Clone yourselfConfirm the photos and voice are yours, then save a real, reusable talking avatar.
Animate or chat with your cloneRe-record a new script in your real voice, reply to messages in character, or generate a new scene starring you.
UGC videosA multi-lane draft: pick archive stills from a character, direct each shot, generate the clips, then finalize into one video.
ArchiveEvery still your character or clone has ever generated stays saved. Reuse one for a new video with no new still charge.
CreditsOne shared balance across every DevGhouse app. Each builder shows its live cost before you generate anything.

How it connects to your workspace

Signing in to UGC Studio uses the same account as every other DevGhouse app, so your credit balance is shared. The top-right avatar menu switches between your personal account and any workspace (realm) you belong to. AI characters can live in either; Clone Yourself only works in your personal context, since a clone always represents one real person attesting to their own likeness. If you open the clone builder from a workspace, the app tells you to switch to personal from the avatar menu first.

Plan and generate with an assistant

If you connect Claude, Codex or another assistant to your workspace through the MCP Server, it can build and reuse characters and clones on your behalf, in the same "ugc" area your assistant works from. The tools it can call:

  • Characters: character_generate_image and character_refine_image to make and adjust a base portrait, character_save to keep it, character_list_all to browse your library, character_dataset to grow the reference gallery, character_scene for a new still, character_video for a talking video, and character_archive to reuse a past still.
  • Clones: clone_create to save a new clone from a selfie and voice sample you host first, clone_list / clone_update / clone_delete to manage them, clone_animate to make a new video, clone_chat and clone_messages to talk with a clone, clone_scene for an original scene, clone_dataset / clone_add_image to grow its photo library, and clone_archive to browse past stills.

An assistant working inside a project that has UGC Studio attached opens with the same guidance this guide gives, so it always knows the difference between a synthetic character and your own consenting likeness before it generates anything.
