Events
Events at events.devghouse.com is where you build an invitation, send it out, and watch replies come in. You get one page per event with the date, the location and an RSVP button, a guest list that tracks who is coming, a day-by-day plan you can build with the people helping you host, and a shared photo album your guests can add to during and after the party.
It works for anything with a date and a guest list: a birthday, a launch party, a conference, a small wedding, a team dinner.
Events is its own product with its own sign-up and its own credit balance. If you already use another DevGhouse app, that account does not automatically carry over here, and credits you buy in Events stay in Events.
What you can do
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create an event | Name it, describe it, pick a date and time, and drop a pin on the map. A wizard walks you through all three in under a minute. |
| Design the invite | Pick which sections show on your event page (hero photo, countdown, schedule, RSVP, photo gallery, music) and reorder them. Preview it as a phone or a desktop page before you send it. |
| Guest list | Add guests one by one or import a CSV, see who is invited, accepted, pending or declined, and search the list. |
| Invite links | Every guest gets their own link to open your invitation and reply. A single join link works too, for a group you don't want to type out by name. |
| Planning | Build a day-by-day itinerary (stops, travel legs, times, locations) and add co-planners who can edit it and the guest list with you. |
| Guest chat | One shared thread with your guests, with quick polls for a place, a date or a time. |
| Photo gallery | Turn on a shared album guests can add photos and videos to, with optional approval before anything goes public. |
| AI assistant | Ask the built-in assistant to help plan, or connect your own Claude, Codex or Kimi setup with a private key scoped to just this event. |
Who it's for
Anyone hosting something with a guest list: a birthday host, a small business running a launch, a team organizing a dinner, a couple planning a small wedding. You don't need a company or a workspace, just an event with a date.
How it connects to your workspace
Events is a standalone app: your account, your event, your credits, separate from app.devghouse.com and from any other DevGhouse product you use. The one thing shared with the rest of DevGhouse is the login screen's social buttons (GitHub, Google, X) and the AI agent connection, which uses the same kind of private key other DevGhouse apps use for external AI tools.
