Trips
Trips is a group trip planner. Say your team is flying out for a work retreat, or a few friends are finally doing that weekend in Lisbon: one person starts the trip, invites the others, and from there everyone can see the dates, the budget, and who is doing what. No more group chat with forty messages about which hotel to book.
It is built for anyone who has ever tried to plan a trip over text and watched it fall apart. A host, a small group of co-planners, and any number of travellers who just need to see the plan and say whether they are in.
Who this is for
You do not need to be technical. If you can fill in a form and click a few buttons, you can run a trip in here. It works whether you are planning for two people or twenty.
The sidebar keeps hosting and travelling separate: My trips lists trips you started, and Trips I'm on lists trips someone else invited you to. If you just accepted an invite, that second list is where to find it.
What you can do
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Start a trip | Name it, pick your departure and return dates, and add a destination if you already know it. |
| Invite travellers | Share one link. Anyone who opens it can join, RSVP, and see the plan. |
| Trip chat | A group chat for the whole trip, with quick polls for "where do we stay" and "how do we get there." |
| The plan | A day by day itinerary: flights or drives, hotels, and anything else you want on the schedule. |
| Budget | Every priced item adds up automatically, split per traveller. |
| Trip page | A page travellers can open to see the plan, RSVP, and jump into the chat. |
| Shared album | Turn on one photo album for the trip, with optional approval before a traveller's photo goes live. |
| AI assistant | Optional. Connect an AI tool to help build the plan or answer questions in the chat. |
How it connects to your DevGhouse workspace
Trips is one of several apps under DevGhouse, and it shares your DevGhouse login. If you already have a DevGhouse account, you can sign in here with the same email and password. If you don't, you can create one directly from Trips.
That said, Trips runs on its own account and its own credits. Signing up here does not automatically give you access to other DevGhouse apps, and credits you buy for Trips are separate from credits in, say, a different DevGhouse product. Think of it as a standalone app that happens to share a login system, not a feature bolted onto something bigger.
